Policy

When placing orders, a 48-hour notice is preferred. Several days notice is requested on larger caterings (20 or more people). For orders placed less than 48 hours in advance, please call the catering office at 512-579-8750 for confirmation.

To professionally prepare for each guest, we request you guarantee the number of guests attending your event at least 48 hours in advance. Quantities may be increased up to 6 hours prior to the start of the event. Once guaranteed, quantities may not be reduced after 48 hours prior to the event.

For events with liquor, final guest count must be confirmed 5 business days prior to event

Liquor services are invoiced directly from the beverage company to the customer.

All orders submitted with less than the minimum count will be billed at the price for the minimum number.

Cancellations may be accepted, by telephone, 24 hours prior to the event. In the case that specific inventory has been purchased, the cost of the inventory and any labor incurred in the preparation of food will be billed to the client at cost.

Catering will be invoiced at the number of people confirmed, or the number of guests in attendance, whichever is greater.

Beverages are billed as ordered. Upon prearrangement with the Manager, beverages for parties over 75 may be billed on consumption with a minimum guarantee of 60% of quantity ordered.

Due to health department regulations, any perishable food left over from caterings must not be removed. Items which are non-perishable, such as beverages and pre-packaged snacks may be removed.

All catering equipment must be accounted for at the time of pick up. Any missing equipment will be billed back to the event.

A pick up/delivery fee will be charged for items relocated from original delivery site.

Quoted prices are for paper service only. Flowers, special linen, rental equipment and wait staff are available for an additional charge and priced per function.

We accept Cash, Checks, Visa, Discover, American Express, and MasterCard. All catering must be paid in full the day of the event.

Thrivent employees may charge caterings by providing their department ID number.

Catering Hours are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday. For events after 3:00pm or before 7:00am, labor will be charged at $27.00 per hour. A 17% service charge applies to caterings after 3:00pm, for events in the Dining Rooms, Executive floor or the Auditorium.

Catering attendants are available at the cost of $27.00per hour. There is a 4-hour minimum charge for after hours events.

Tax is not included in price. All caterings will be subject to applicable state and local taxes.

Online catering requests are considered event contracts.

Rental equipment will be invoiced at the cost to Eurest Dining, including delivery charges.
